Lamborghini Aventador. Already the name reveals that this project was to be a transformation in a class of its own. The vehicle, which was announced as one of our personal favourite projects, has now been completed and convinces everyone with its unique new design.
For this interior, we used deep black Alcantara, leather in orange and white as well as carbon fabric, which we covered with a black tint.
Aventador reinterpreted
In line with the new design of the Lamborghini, our customer wanted an interior that would not only perfectly match the white foiling and the orange brake callipers. A completely new interior concept was needed that would adapt to the design language of the Aventador and its unique characteristics.
Not only are there strong colour contrasts in deep black Alcantara and white and orange leather throughout the interior, but we also incorporated the model-typical use of the Ypsilon shape in the seat surfaces and the headliner as an individual honeycomb pattern.
The Lamborghini Aventador’s seats stand out with numerous white contrasts on the jet black Alcantara. A white leather trim strip picks up the material from the dashboard and centre console for added sportiness. As a subtle contrast, we used orange leather on the sides of the seats, which are visually accentuated by white piping from the rest of the seat cover.
The backrests are made of carbon, as are the speedometer scoop and other trim elements of the dashboard. We have given this a dark tint which only reveals the fibre when the light falls on the part.
We divided the dashboard into three different segments, consisting of Alcantara in the top section, followed by orange and white leather. This colour separation also runs into the centre console and the tapered wedge of the door panels, which becomes a flawless extension of the dashboards.
But in addition to the dashboard, we’ve also transformed the Aventador’s steering wheel into an absolute highlight. After the steering wheel had been shaped by the company Super Seams, we refined the steering wheel with the same white and orange leather by separating the front and back. We also designed the upper and lower areas of the steering wheel with the tinted carbon fabric.
