VW Arteon! The name alone suggests that this new vehicle from VW is a design-driven vehicle. The exterior shows a distinctly artistic design language, with curved lines and clear shapes setting the Arteon clearly apart from its predecessor, the Passat CC. We have brought this high-quality exterior appearance to the interior as well, by finishing almost every element with a mixture of Alcantara and carbon in combination with red contrast stitching.
To create a link to the exterior colour of this vehicle, we used crimson colour accents in the form of a red painted stripe that runs as a horizontal line through the interior at the driver’s eye level. The inlays of the door panels were finished with a honeycomb pattern with red contrast stitching. In this way, we gave the elegant appearance a sporty touch.
The honeycomb design is also found in the centre panels of the sports seats and is interrupted by a red trim strip. The entire interior concept is a blend of elegance and sportiness. The rear seat bench matches the front seats in the same design. The design element of the red stripes is also found in the steering wheel in the form of a zero. Two fine lines interrupt the steering wheel, which is otherwise completely in Alcantara, and repeat the design language.
As an eye-catcher, we refined the trim strips of the door trim and the dashboard with real carbon, deliberately interrupting the otherwise Alcantara concept to further emphasise the sportiness. The headlining and the A, B and C-pillars were only finished with dark Alcantara and are visually subordinate to the concept, but enhance their own materiality enormously. Such a fully comprehensive vehicle refinement completely redefines a vehicle. No matter what model, no matter what brand, a cross-brand vehicle refinement provides every vehicle and its owner with a newly defined driving experience.
